Currently in Los Angeles — November 10, 2023: The calm before the storm
Plus, an all-new Currently Weather Service launches next week!
The weather, currently.
The calm before the storm
The calm before the storm. Heading into the weekend, the weather will be great for mid November with sun and temperatures eclipsing the 80 degree mark in the warmest spots away from the coast.
Next week, the Pacific storm I’ve been talking about will finally arrive. Some have spoken about some impressive (3+ inches) rain totals. But other models say 1 to 2 inches. The storm could even just skirt by us, impacting mainly NorCal. I won’t say anything on my predictions until Sunday. Until then…
What you need to know, currently.
It’s my great honor to announce that we have a big announcement coming next week.
The new Currently Weather Service is designed to be a complete re-imagination of what a weather service can be in the era of climate change. For us, this launch is at the heart and soul of what we want to do and what we stand for: timely, accurate and easy to understand weather information for everyone, everywhere.
This is a project that’s been in development for months and we’re finally ready to share it with the world.
And I can’t wait to share it with you first, next week.
What you can do, currently.
Currently Sponsorships are short messages we co-write with you to plug your org, event, or climate-friendly business with Currently subscribers. It’s a chance to boost your visibility with Currently — one of the world’s largest daily climate newsletters — and support independent climate journalism, all at the same time. Starting at just $105.
