Currently in Los Angeles — June 4, 2024: More sun than Monday

The weather, currently.

The marine layer really lingered around on Monday, with limited clearing across LA metro even past noon. As has been the case on a number of days since mid-May, stratus coverage was seen as far east as the 15 Freeway.

Look for improved clearing as the week goes on away from the coast. For Tuesday, expect a somewhat similar regime as Monday, though as the ridge really starts to set in, temperatures should be well into the 70s away from the coast, with low-80 degree readings in valley towns like Woodland Hills and Claremont.
