Currently in Los Angeles — June 18, 2024: Similar pattern of morning fog

The weather, currently.

For Tuesday, expect a similar bout of morning clouds and fog, with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s inland, to around 70 at the beach. Tracking another potential warmup for the upcoming weekend.

Some surprising reverse clearing on Monday, with the beaches waking up to sun, versus San Gabriel Valley covered in clouds. Beyond the usual June Gloom, there’s also the Post fire about 45 miles outside of L.A., which has already burned through more than 14,000 acres. Look for potential haze and smoke to impact parts of the area.
